Benefiting Windwood Farm Home for Children
It’s back!! The Daniel Island Property Owners Association and Windwood Family Services, formally Windwood Farm Home for Children, are thrilled to announce that “Pork n’ Pearls” a FUN-raising Pig and Oyster Roast, is set for Saturday, Feb. 25th from 3 – 7 pm at the Pierce Park Pavilion on Daniel Island. This party, one part “swank” and the other part “down home” raised more than $18,000 for the non-profit last year, which offers residential and outpatient programs designed to provide a happier and healthier life to children in the Lowcountry. This event appeals to everyone’s appetite, while helping out a great organization at an incredible price for an outstanding cause (The event will serve as Daniel Island’s Annual Oyster Roast for 2012.)
Ticket Prices:
Early Bird – Now until Feb. 1: Adults $25, children ages 4-15 $10, 3 and under free
Regular – Feb. 1 until Feb. 24: Adults $30, Kids pricing remains the same
Day of – Feb. 25: Adults $35, Kids pricing remains the same
Ticket prices include food, entertainment and two drink tickets for beer and wine. Additional beer and wine and FIREFLY will be available for purchase.
On the menu will be Roasted Pork, Oysters, Chicken as well as savory side dishes – catered by Charleston Outdoor Catering and Charleston Oyster Machine Co.
Island residents as well as off island friends, relatives and others are invited to attend. Come enjoy live music by the Shem Creek Boogie Band with special appearance from Jack West, entertainment for the kids as well as door prizes and drawings will take place throughout the event.
