Last week East Cooper Community Outreach asked for canned goods, dried grain, and non-perishable items. The shelves have been quickly depleted since school has let out. We answered those requests and gathered some cans and grains from our own pantries to contribute towards the E.C.C.O. mission.
We also helped spread the word to our networks on Twitter and Facebook. We have to thank Shannon Miller at SPAWAR & Josh Labovitz for getting your coworkers involved. Together we could ease hunger for families in Mount Pleasant, and utilizing our social tools we were able to act quickly.
